Player Props: Markets, Inputs, and Variance

A player prop is a market on an individual statistic rather than the final game result. A gradeable selection needs an identified player, statistic, direction, exact line, odds, event, and event time.

Inputs and limits

Useful context can include recent logs, expected role, opponent tendencies, venue, rest, injuries, and likely game environment. Small samples, role changes, late news, and sportsbook settlement rules add uncertainty.

Validation
